About the painting
Liquid Gold was inspired by a sunset dinner cruise along the Budva Riviera on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro, where the late summer sun glistened on the water like precious diamonds.

About the Artist
Carina Francioso is a Canadian Italian painter devoted to water: its light, motion and mutability. Her imagery is rooted in summers on Georgian Bay and, since the age of sixteen, seasons on the Salento coast of southern Italy.
Her paintings are held in private and corporate collections internationally, including the collection of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
