Waianapanapa’s Tide on The Road to Hana
If you have yet to travel to Maui, Hawaii then this painting will give you a taste of what you will find on the east side of the island. In Wai’ānapanapa State Park exists a famous black sand beach named Honokalani which is also one of the highlight stops on the road to Hana! The black lava sand beneath these waters adds mystery to this beach and one can quickly understood why it is regarded as a sacred place by the Hawaiian people.
This composition depicts the currents that often sweep through this bay, fiercely splashing against the many surrounding black lava rocks – a true symbol of strength and perseverance. The water of this bay speaks for itself and with its powerful presence serves as an important reminder that we must cherish and preserve our global waters, not just for ourselves but for future generations.

ARCHIVAL PAPER, ROLLED
The archival paper print is carefully packed and shipped in a cylindrical tube. The print has a 2” white border and is hand-numbered, titled and signed at the base of the image on the bottom white border. Take this rolled print to your local framer for framing. To keep the paper print as archival as possible, it is recommended to frame it under museum grade glass.
Printed on archival/museum grade paper (100% cotton acid free textured finish) and color matched to the original painting. The print includes a hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
CANVAS PRINT, ROLLED
The canvas print is carefully packed and shipped in a cylindrical tube. The print has a 2” white border to allow for stretching and is hand-signed and numbered on the bottom corner of image. Take this rolled print to your local framer for stretching and/or framing.
Printed on exhibition canvas (matte, with an additional UV protective coating) and color matched to the original painting. The print includes a hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

The canvas print is stretched around heavy duty 1 1/2” wood stretcher bars, then carefully packed and shipped in a box. The stretched print has clean white sides and is ready to hang. It is hand-signed and numbered on the bottom corner of the image.

CANVAS PRINT, STRETCHED AND FRAMED
The canvas print is stretched around heavy duty 1 1/2” wood stretcher bars, then framed in an Italian crafted, modern floater frame (your choice of white, black, silver leaf or gold leaf). The frame adds a total of 1 1/2” inches to the overall dimensions of the print (front face of frame measures 3/8”wide and there is space around the print). The framed print is carefully packed and shipped in a box. The artwork is ready to hang and is hand-signed and numbered on the bottom corner of image.
